Time to Stop Using Internet Explorer

If you’re still browsing the web with Internet Explorer, it’s time for a change.

Microsoft stopped updating Internet Explorer in 2016, and industry experts—and even Microsoft’s own security team—recommend that most users discontinue the use of Internet Explorer.

In a nutshell, Internet Explorer is no longer meeting modern standards for security or user experience. The last thing we want is for you to have a negative online banking experience and face unnecessary security threats, so we’re encouraging all customers to discontinue using Internet Explorer.

The good news is that change, in this case, is simple. Modern, secure browsers like Google Chrome are free and easy to download:

You may even have another one of these browsers on your computer already. Simply use one of these to surf the web or login to online banking. It’s that easy. It’s also safer and faster, and you’ll notice a better user experience.

Also, please note that we will be making an upgrade to the Bank Forward online banking system in the 2020. While you can use Internet Explorer for browsing other sites and using other applications, our upgraded system will not support Internet Explorer and you will need to use one of the supported browsers listed above. So, why wait? Switch your browser today.
