Insure Forward $1,000 Donates to New Life Center
Fargo, ND – As part of Bank Forward and Insure Forward’s 90th Anniversary Pay It Forward campaign, Insure Forward’s Kim Rogen presented the New Life Center with a $1,000 donation.
“My son Colton has been volunteering at the New Life Center this summer,” says Kim Rogen. “He has had so much to share with me about all the good they are doing for the homeless and hurting men in our community.”
Kim, Colton and their family have been making material donations to the organization’s thrift store, but recently Colton mentioned some additional requests. “He told me they were really in need of new white undershirts and other undergarments,” Kim says. “I wanted to try to help fulfill this need and knowing the values of our company, I submitted a donation request.”
For Kim, the opportunity to wok for a company willing to give back to an organization that has positively impacted her family is priceless. “I love that I work for a company that shares the same values as I do and I am very proud to tell people where I work and why I this is a great company to work for,” Kim says. “Being a part of a company that gives back to its community is just ONE of the many reasons I enjoy coming to work each day.”
Since 1907, the New Life Center has been “helping people who are homeless and hurting go from merely surviving to truly thriving.” The organization has evolved from primarily conducting religious services and neighborhood outreach work to a Christian multifaceted emergency and crisis service center.
