Bank Forward Donates $1,000 to St. Joseph’s Social Care & Thrift Store
Grand Forks, ND – As part of the Bank Forward’s 90th Anniversary Pay it Forward campaign, Brady Trenbeath, Market President of Bank Forward Grand Forks, is pleased to announce a $1,000 donation has been made to the St. Joseph’s Social Care & Thrift Store. The donation will help support the organization’s summer lunch program for kids.
St. Joseph’s recognizes the need for children to receive consistent, nutritious meals and how that can be a challenge during the summer months while children are out of school. To fill this need, during the months of June and July, St. Joseph’s provides free lunches to children 18 years old or younger at several sites throughout Grand Forks and East Grand Forks. The program also distributes additional packages to kids on Friday to ensure they have healthy snacks over the weekend.
“For 90 years Bank Forward has taken great pride in being a positive member within the communities we serve and supporting organizations like St. Joseph’s that are making a difference locally,” Trenbeath says. “We are honored to support not only the summer lunch program’s effort to feed our children in need but also its goal to instill a healthy lifestyle in participants through nutrition and wellness education.”
