Mortgage Quality Control Specialist - Fargo, ND or Grand Forks, ND
Bank Forward has an opening for a full-time Mortgage Quality Control Specialist in either our Fargo or Grand Forks, ND location. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing a quality control program that complies with bank and investor guidelines. Primary responsibilities will be to perform quality control reviews of mortgage loans, reverifications, prepare written reports, coordinate quality control reviews, and recommend corrective action for defects to ensure loans are in compliance. Will be responsible for knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, as well as complying with banking laws and regulations.
Position requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of mortgage experience required, including knowledge of loan operations, origination, documentation, processing, and real estate in general is required. Basic knowledge and understanding of state and federal laws and regulations, as well as applicable bank policies and procedures related to mortgage lending required. Position may require travel during initial training period.
Residential Real Estate Loan Officer - Walker, MN
Bank Forward in Walker, MN has an opening for a full-time Residential Real Estate Loan Officer. Position will be responsible for developing and retaining Real Estate relationships while ensuring loan quality and deposit growth for the bank. Responsibilities will include assessing client’s financial needs and providing product expertise; developing loans, deposit accounts, other fee generating services and extending credit; and ensuring that loans meet established lending policies and requirements, comply with applicable laws/regulations and provide maximum profitability to the bank with minimum risk.
Position requires a degree in business, finance, accounting or the equivalent in work experience and 3-5 years of lending experience with demonstrated skills in sales/marketing. Previous experience with outbound selling, prospecting and referral development preferred.
Loan Officer - Bemidji, MN
Bank Forward in Bemidji, MN has an opening for a full-time Loan Officer. Position will include Consumer and Residential Real Estate lending areas. Responsibilities would consist of examining, evaluating and authorizing or recommending approval of customer applications while ensuring loans meet established lending policies, comply with applicable laws and regulations and provide maximum profitability with minimal risk. Additional job duties include retaining and expanding existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers while promoting the bank through community involvement.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree; three to five years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Residential Real Estate and sales experience preferred.
