Market President – Fargo, ND

Bank Forward in Fargo has an opening for a Market President. The Market President acts as a key resource in representing the bank to the community and market area it serves and is committed to leading the team to achieve bank and agency goals. He/she provides on-going guidance, direction and leadership to bank staff to ensure clear understanding of bank goals and bank operations while consistently creating superior customer experiences and coaching their team to emulate that behavior.

Responsibilities include driving new business development in the market area, setting a professional, positive example and standard of leadership and teamwork that results in achievement of our objectives, growing a loan portfolio, and developing customer relationships through community involvement. This position will also demonstrate exceptional customer service through performance and leadership, participate in community activities, partner with resource leaders to foster employees’ professional developments, communicate strategic goals, execute strategic initiative, and align employees’ development plans to achieve our goals.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field, a minimum of five years of lending experience, excellent verbal communication skills, must be detail oriented and possess extensive problem solving and leadership skills, be able to work independently, adapt to constant change, and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and banking platform programs.

Commercial Loan Officer – Fargo, ND

Bank Forward in Fargo, ND has an opening for a full-time Commercial Loan Officer. This position is responsible for developing new business and expanding existing relationships, while ensuring loan quality and deposit growth for the bank. This position’s job duties would include examining, evaluating and authorizing or recommending approval of customer applications for loans while ensuring loans meet established lending policies, complying with applicable laws/regulations and providing maximum profitability with minimal risk. Additional responsibilities include analyzing credit worthiness of applicants and negotiating terms, repayment, and collateral requirements. Must promote the bank in community involvement through active participation in community affairs and participate in marketing all of the company’s products and services.

Position requires a degree in business, finance, accounting, or the equivalent in work experience and three years of lending experience with demonstrated skills in sales. Previous experience in outbound selling, prospecting and referral development preferred. Knowledge of lending policies, procedures, practices and documentation (including accounting, financial statements and cash flow analysis) required. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or finance, as well as three years commercial lending experience.

Individual must possess excellent customer relations, interpersonal, team player and organizational skills. Must demonstrate characteristics of high motivation, energy, and positivity. Must have working knowledge of the rules, regulations, policies and procedures governing banking services.

Loan Technician - Valley City, ND

Bank Forward in Valley City, ND has an opening for a full-time Loan Technician to provide support to the lending team through customer service, preparing loan documents, maintaining loan files, and processing a variety of deposit and loan-related transactions. Position requires an associate’s degree in business, accounting, finance or banking or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with loan documentation preferred. Must be able to multi-task while handling sensitive and confidential information. Computer skills, including knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs are preferred. Must possess analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.

Operations Specialist - Fargo, ND

Bank Forward in Fargo, ND has an opening for a full-time Operations Specialist to process incoming and outgoing wire transfers and perform related operations functions for the entire bank. This position will have many different duties within the operations department. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or banking or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least two years of experience in operations and/or funds management preferred. Incumbent must have strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word. Requires strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, along with attention to detail while handling confidential information.

Network Administrator - Jamestown or Fargo, ND

Bank Forward has a full-time position opening for a Network Administrator, to be located in either our Jamestown or Fargo location. Position will be responsible for supporting the technology team with projects and routine department activities. Incumbent will provide ITI support to bank employees, along with technical support on operational programs and systems. A working knowledge of computer hardware and software components, as well as their application to bank operations is expected. Due to routine computer and hardware upgrades and maintenance, must be willing to travel to other locations. Associate’s Degree in information systems or a related field is preferred. At least two years of experience in IS or technology is required.

Residential Real Estate Loan Officer - Fargo, ND

Bank Forward in Fargo, ND has an opening for a full-time Residential Real Estate Loan Officer. Position will be responsible for developing and retaining Real Estate relationships while ensuring loan quality and deposit growth for the bank. Responsibilities will include assessing client’s financial needs and providing product expertise; developing loans, deposit accounts, other fee generating services and extending credit. Also ensure that loans meet established lending policies and requirements, comply with applicable laws/regulations, and provide maximum profitability to the bank with minimum risk.

Position requires a degree in business, finance, accounting or the equivalent in work experience and 3-5 years of lending experience with demonstrated skills in sales/marketing. Previous experience with outbound selling, prospecting and referral development preferred.

Bank Forward in Jamestown, ND has an opening for a full-time Personal Banker. Hours would be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with a Saturday morning 8-noon rotation once a month. Responsibilities include teller duties and paying functions; bookkeeping; cross selling banking products and services; responding to customer inquiries; and answering phones promptly and courteously. Past experience in banking or retail store involving customer interaction and cash handling is preferred. We desire a professional customer service orientated individual who enjoys working with the public. High school diploma or GED required.
