Market President – Fargo, ND

Bank Forward in Fargo has an opening for a Market President. The Market President acts as a key resource in representing the bank to the community and market area it serves and is committed to leading the team to achieve bank and agency goals. He/she provides on-going guidance, direction and leadership to bank staff to ensure clear understanding of bank goals and bank operations while consistently creating superior customer experiences and coaching their team to emulate that behavior.

Responsibilities include driving new business development in the market area, setting a professional, positive example and standard of leadership and teamwork that results in achievement of our objectives, growing a loan portfolio, and developing customer relationships through community involvement. This position will also demonstrate exceptional customer service through performance and leadership, participate in community activities, partner with resource leaders to foster employees’ professional developments, communicate strategic goals, execute strategic initiative, and align employees’ development plans to achieve our goals.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field, a minimum of five years of lending experience, excellent verbal communication skills, must be detail oriented and possess extensive problem solving and leadership skills, be able to work independently, adapt to constant change, and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and banking platform programs.

Commercial Loan Officer – Fargo, ND

Bank Forward in Fargo, ND has an opening for a full-time Commercial Loan Officer. This position is responsible for developing new business and expanding existing relationships, while ensuring loan quality and deposit growth for the bank. This position’s job duties would include examining, evaluating and authorizing or recommending approval of customer applications for loans while ensuring loans meet established lending policies, complying with applicable laws/regulations and providing maximum profitability with minimal risk. Additional responsibilities include analyzing credit worthiness of applicants and negotiating terms, repayment, and collateral requirements. Must promote the bank in community involvement through active participation in community affairs and participate in marketing all of the company’s products and services.

Position requires a degree in business, finance, accounting, or the equivalent in work experience and three years of lending experience with demonstrated skills in sales. Previous experience in outbound selling, prospecting and referral development preferred. Knowledge of lending policies, procedures, practices and documentation (including accounting, financial statements and cash flow analysis) required. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or finance, as well as three years commercial lending experience.

Individual must possess excellent customer relations, interpersonal, team player and organizational skills. Must demonstrate characteristics of high motivation, energy, and positivity. Must have working knowledge of the rules, regulations, policies and procedures governing banking services.

Senior Tax Manager – Fargo, ND

Bank-owned tax preparation service is seeking a qualified leader to take on engagement management responsibility for a diverse portfolio of clients including primary client contact and tax services, as well as prioritizing and managing project workflow. This Senior Tax Manager position in our Fargo, ND office is primarily responsible for preparing tax returns as well as leading the team in delivering compliance and consulting services to individual clients and their trusts, estates, business concerns and charitable pursuits. Experience in Agriculture is preferred.

We desire an outgoing individual who has excellent writing, research, presentation and communication skills. Must be comfortable with business development and seeking new clients to grow the firm.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA designation are required. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with federal, state tax compliance and tax planning/consulting with a public accounting firm. Prior management of staff experience preferred. Insurance Sales Agent – Fargo, ND

Insure Forward in Fargo has an opening for a full-time Insurance Sales Agent. Responsibilities will include the sales and service of Insure Forward products, developing new business, maximizing existing customer relationships and promoting the agency through community involvement.

We desire an outgoing individual who has excellent interpersonal, sales and customer service skills. Must possess strong time management and organizational skills. Must be licensed in Property & Casualty or willing to obtain licenses. Previous experience working in the insurance industry preferred.
